HOW TO USE MAGNETIC COUPLINGS
Q I have several full‐length HST train sets and I find it a faff to remove one or more carriages from the set, because of the fiddling involved trying to disengage the tension lock couplings. Is there an easier alternative?

Peter says: Magnetic couplings make removing one or more carriages from a rake really easy, but can also narrow any unsightly gaps between corridor connections. Removing one carriage from a set simply involves pulling the sets apart and taking out a carriage.
