George says: Plastic wagon buffers, especially on modern RTR stock or kit-built vehicles, can be prone to damage if a model falls from a layout. It’s a situation I’ve faced many a time and, other than being more careful with handling and storing models, it cannot be avoided entirely – accidents will happen.
