Responders in eastern Turkey evacuate an injured woman from the rubble of a building after a magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck on January 25. The disaster to date, according to CNN, has claimed at least 36 lives and left well more than 1,000 injured. The epicenter was in the small lakeside town of Sivrice in Elazig province; it was felt across neighboring countries across the region.
