A PUPIL from St Columba’s Primary School, Fort William, has raised almost £200 after cutting off her long locks for charity.
Samara McCormack, primary six, came up with the idea of having her long hair cut short to help raise money for two Lochaber children who are currently undergoing treatment in hospital in Glasgow – Ryan Whiteford and Emily Campbell.
Samara organised a sponsor sheet and got staff of the school, her family and friends to sponsor her, raising £195 for the two children.
