Spiritual masters, self-help gurus, and perhaps your yoga teacher have all professed the necessity to be your authentic self, in order to live a fulfilled life. But, what does that mean? Aren’t we authentic by default? After all, we are just simple humans, living our day-to-day lives, doing what needs to be done to survive. What is so inauthentic about that?
