Patchwork and Quilting  |  June 2013
Now that spring, or summer for that matter, has sprung we have some summery projects for you this month. We are delighted to bring you a new series quilt, the Seaside Sampler. This nine-month programme will feature a range of unusual techniques that you may not come across in regular sampler quilts. This first part teaches you how to make flanges amongst other things.
The Scrappy Tulips wall hanging gives you the opportunity to use those tiny scraps we know you all keep, we also reach part six in our block of the month, Hand Quilting for All. This month we make the first border and concentrate on the importance of background quilting. The Lincolnshire Wolds Quilt charts the story of an interesting and challenging wall hanging, plus we have an in-depth review of the first and landmark British Quilt and Stitch Village event. Happy stitching!
