Keep your caravan on the road
First and foremost, your caravan is a road vehicle, so it must always be in a roadworthy condition. We would advocate regular servicing of your van, irrespective of its age or how often it is used.
However, there are also basic checks (as with a car) that should be carried out. Tyres (A) should be checked regularly for pressure and condition. Although there is no mandatory age at which tyres must be changed, both major Clubs recommend that tyres should be changed before they are seven years old.
