NIRVANA AND THEY YEAR GRUNGE BROKE
On 24 April 1988, Nirvana exited the stage at an erstwhile gay biker bar in
downtown Seattle called the Vogue. The trio came from Aberdeen, a small, rather browbeaten industrial town over one hundred miles away on the
remote Pacific Northwest coast, and they had just completed their first proper gig in the big city. It was not exactly a harbinger of impending
