VIDEOGAME Left 4 Dead was the co-op shooter of the Noughties, but it ran out of steam. Back 4 Blood shares DNA and a developer with Valve’s iconic series as, again, a team of four players, called Cleaners, battle to a map’s safe room through a horde of zombie-like creatures, here called the Ridden. But there are subtle differences that ensure Back 4 Blood trumps its forebear.
