I like to think that we crocheters are a smart and savvy bunch. I’ve met so many hooksters who work in scientific fields like chemistry or biology – that’s what inspired the science-themed collection on page 14. And we love a clever crochet hack, like adding a few motifs to an old tablecloth, as Paula Green did on page 59, or a life hack, like a portable crochet game to keep the kids occupied at all times – say, the tic-tac-toe board by Teri Hamilton on page 36.
