NOTES Poncho is made up of 162 Squares and 6 Half Squares. There are Construction Diagrams on page 87, which you will need to refer to when joining the Squares together. Leave long tails when fastening off to use to whipstitch the motifs together. You can increase the length of the Poncho by 5.5cm by working an additional 18 Squares and joining a row across the bottom of the Front and Back. You can increase the width by 11cm by making an additional 24 Squares and joining 6 across each side edge of Front and Back. The Trunk is worked in one piece. Change colour on the final yrh of st before colour change is indicated. Leave the unused strands on the WS of your work, ready to use again on the next row.
