SKYRUNNING
Running through the clouds is a breathtaking experience, and the development of skyrunning in the 1990s turned this peakpunching pursuit into a sport with defined rules. To be considered a bone fide skyrun, a route has to take in terrain that’s 2,000m above sea level, with a minimum average climbing rate of 6% and at least 5% of the course must have an incline of 30% or steeper.
