NEW DRAMA: HUMANS
When sci-fi drama Humans first aired last year, it set a new record as Channel 4’s most watched original drama in more than a decade. Based on a hit Swedish series, the dystopian tale of man versus machine played on our fears of technology as it followed a gang of humanoid robots aka Synths who suddenly became conscious and decided to fight back. Now fully recharged for a second series, the show picks up several months after the series one finale, with rebel Synth Niska (Emily Berrington) in Berlin and in possession of the consciousness code, which could awaken robots all over the world.
