With many of these geckos having such bright blue colourations, you’d think that they’d be relatively easy to spot in their habitat. Yet, at just 5-8 cm long on average and only found in an area less than 8 km2 in the Kimboza and Ruvu Forest Reserves in Tanzania, these tiny reptiles are not often seen. Little is known about their average natural lifespan, but estimates range between five to 10 years.
