One foot in front of the other, right? Wrong! Running on paths, tracks and hillsides requires different strength and agility, so use these eight moves to power up this autumn
Workout created by: Anne-Marie Lategan
Trail running is a great way to explore new areas but it places different demands on your body. This is because when you run on trails your muscles are used in different ways, and the ever-changing terrain means that each step you take is unique. Strengthening your muscles will mean you can meet the challenges of the trail, while concentrating on loving the run and enjoying the views.
