Making time
All writers need to carve out time to write. Adrian Magson suggests ways for you to find the creative time that works best for you

The following might seem like teaching one’s grandmother to suck eggs. I mean, time is important to all of us. But as this page is aimed at beginner writers, many of whom are struggling with the pressures of penning that first story, I’m sure you won’t mind me going back to basics.
Finding enough time to write can be a hurdle that never really goes away. As if coming up with an intriguing plot, a red-hot story arc, a bunch of hard-to-letgo characters or even a voice readers just can’t ignore isn’t taxing enough, finding the time to get all that composed and down on paper can be a major problem.
You probably have a family life. You have friends. You have a day job. You have stuff that needs attending to every day just to keep life ticking over. What you probably don’t have, unless you’re a full-time writer, is time allocated to sit down and… write.
