MINDFULNESS: FIVE WAYS TO THINK YOURSELF MORE CONFIDENT
Stop worrying about what just happened, or what might go wrong in the future and improve your confidence at the same time: welcome to mindfulness. Now mindfulness teaches us to live for the moment – not worrying about what has happened, or may be about to happen. It’s about appreciating our surroundings, noticing people, sights, smells and sounds and controlling our internal dialogue. Mindful riders focus on what’s happening right now, and don’t let their mind wander or become stressed, which helps their horses too. It’s a fantastic, hugely positive state of mind to be in, and here to help us all achieve it is expert Lisa Eklund.
