Jimmy Marshall Cup – 2nd Round

A BROKEN-DOWN minibus and postponement had delayed this cup tie but at the third attempt it turned out to be a day to remember for the McFadyen sponsored, Campbeltown Pupils.

Surprisingly, most of the match went exactly to plan, but it certainly wasn’t plain sailing at Gourock’s Battery Park. It required stout defending and some excellent goalkeeping to finally provide a platform for victory.
