Lee and Gavin help Scots win first title in six years

TWO OF Campbeltown’s best bowling prodigies helped the Scottish junior team lift its first British Isles bowls trophy in six years.

Lee Allen, 21, and Gavin McLachlan, 20, made it onto this year’s team of 24 players and two reserves that beat Lee and Gavin, third and fourth left in the back row, with the Scottish under-25s team. England, Wales and Ireland to the British Isles under-25s bowls championship, played in Llandrindod Wells, in Wales.
