Could cutting grass cost council cash?

CONCERN has been raised that council taxpayers may be subsidising housing association grass cutting – a claim denied by Argyll and Bute Council.

Back in 2014, a facility services company, ISS Enviromental Services based in Weybridge, Surrey, won a contract to maintain grass areas in Kintyre for Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA).
