‘Focus on the key times’
On page 32, you’ll read Terry Hearn’s contribution to this month’s Rotary Letter-a submission which covers a range of topics, including our favourite which is based using your time more wisely. “There are way more nonproductive hours in a day than productive. Half a dozen six hour morning sessions are better than a 48hr trip in one go.” To illustrate that point, Tel touches on his time spent on the Thames, where he only fished the mornings, between 4-10 a.m. “The rest of the time I’d chill out on the boat, generally anywhere I could find some shade. Sometimes it felt like wasted time, but in reality it was no different to how much of my fishing has been on stillwaters.”
