ACE CAFE POLICE THREATEN TOTAL CLOSURE
Owner fights to keep great London classic venue open. The Ace Café has been threatened with closure by police because moped-riding youths are
repeatedly disrupting its events. The eatery on the North Circular – which has been a focal point for classic car and motorcycle meets since its high-profile reopening in 1997 – has had no choice but to shut on several occasions this year as youths target the Ace as a place to congregate outside to do burnouts and wheelies on the road immediately outside the venue.
