★★★★✩
A supergroup formed by Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum of Guns N’ Roses, joined by Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones – on vocals as well as on guitar – and (hello at last to CP readers) John Taylor on bass, Neurotic Outsiders regrettably tick all the supergroup clichés. The playing here is, of course, better than other barroom punks they set out to recreate, yet the lyrics are even crasser. Any relationship troubles are dumped wholesale onto these cheap thrashes, with Nasty Ho somehow worse than its title. This is their sole album’s first time on vinyl, if you must.
