Kibworth Gun Club’s Damian Loach gives Jasper Fellows a tour of a true shooter’s ground

R ight in the very heart of England, tucked between Leicester to the north and Kettering to the south sits Kibworth Gun Club.

It’s a ground packed with a wide variety of targets, disciplines and friendly, knowledgeable staff whose passion for shooting sports quickly rubs off on any visitor lucky enough to make their way through the front door.

“My passion for shooting began here at Kibworth,” says Damian. “I’m proof of the ground’s ability to inspire first timers into a life on the stands. I learned to shoot here and now I get real pleasure in working on and continuing to develop the grounds so that others can be as inspired as I was during my first visit.”

There’s plenty to be motivated by across the estate, with 18 sporting layouts throwing a wide selection of frequently changing loopers, rabbits, battues, midis, minis and more alongside separate DTL, Skeet and Sportrap arenas.
