Are you a reverb lover with control freak tendencies? You’ll love this newly updated CM Suite plugin

JMG Audio Hyperspace is a highly creative and rather unique reverb plugin that combines typical reverb parameters with some deep control over the core algorithms. We are very lucky that the developer, Jason Gibbins, in conjunction with United Plugins has created a special Computer Music version of this plugin and are super honoured that he’s continuing to support us with this new version 2.

Hyperspace CM 2(VST, VST3, AU and AAX) is a slimmed down version of the parent plugin, but still has loads of tweakable parameters. Features include nine regular reverb controls (including reverb Time, Early/Late balance and high pass/low pass Filter), three algorithm Modes (Classic, Modern and Cosmic), and further dynamic and effect processing (Resonate, Inertia, Focus and Duck). The Modes can also be adjusted using the Character XY Pad, for quick changes to the reverb tonality.

The new version features an upgraded interface, 2x oversampling and the CPU-saving option ‘intelligent sleep on silence’. You now also have the option to activate online from within the plugin interface. There are a few other new options in the settings menu, and an expanded preset library.

In this tutorial we’ll show you how to get up and running, and then take you through the main features. We’ll then put Hyperspace CM 2through its paces and finish up with a look at some of the more creative uses for this highly flexible reverb.
