Apple’s 5G hike
With some socially-distanced fanfare, Apple recently launched four new iPhone models: 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. Specs vary, obviously, but each contains the A14 Bionic chip that also appears in the latest iPad Air to provide plenty of grunt for your music-making. These are also the first iPhones to have 5G, which could turn out to be useful for musicians, particularly those who want to collaborate online. Prices are predictably high, with the 12 mini starting at £/$699 and the 12 Pro Max starting at an eye-watering £/$1099. apple.com/iphone
