Delays that click
Cyclick Samples put together this fantastic pack of delay samples for issue 312. Robbie told us how he put it together…
“Delays can fulfil a wide range of tasks, from picking out an instrument in a mix to scrambling a source into mush. Here the onus is towards the latter. These samples were made with extensive use of delay pedals in series and parallel. For the tempo-based loops, UA’s Starlight was fed to an XVive Memory and EHX Memory Boy. These were tweaked into time while the loop recorded down with various moves taking place ‘live’.
