“I was inspired by the saying on the watch pincushion on page 26 and so decided to design a scissor fob based on the headline. I stitched mine on 28 count evenweave and then simply backed and stuffed it before adding a length of ribbon to attach it to my scissors. And as the saying goes – a stitch in time will save me nine when I am next looking for my scissors in my very disorganised stitching bag!”
