Fastjet Mozambique began operations on November 3. The carrier is linking Maputo with Beira (twice daily), Nampula (daily) and Tete (four times weekly) using an Embraer 145 charted from Solenta Aviation Mozambique.
Baghdad-based Al Naser Wings Airlines has wet-leased Airbus A320-231 YR-SEA (c/n 357) and Boeing 737-484 YR-SEB (c/n 25361) from Romanian ACMI provider Star East Airlines, Swiss airline intelligence provider ch-aviation reports. Al Naser Wings’ network covers Istanbul/Ataturk, Beirut and Najaf.
Low-cost carrier Air Arabia Maroc inaugurated its new Marrakech-London/ Gatwick service on November 1. The twiceweekly rotation operates on Wednesday and Saturday. The new link joins Air Arabia Maroc’s existing Gatwick services from Fez and Tangier.
