A MAJOR road serving Argyll was closed for a spell over the busy Easter bank holiday weekend when a lorry had to be recovered after crashing off the road.
The articulated HGV became lodged among roadside trees just above the waters of Loch Lomond after appearing to cross the carriageway on the A82 trunk road south of Tarbet in the early hours on Friday April 14. There are no reports of injuries following the accident.
