MID ARGYLL Youth Forum is one of 40 community groups to benefit from a scheme to distribute cash seized from criminals.
The Scottish Government’s Cashback for Communities scheme will see almost £2 million given to community groups across Scotland to help young people in disadvantaged areas.
The award of more than £30,000 was welcomed by Argyll and Bute MSP, Michael Russell, who commented: ‘Cashback for Communities is a unique programme that seizes money from criminals and reinvests it back into communities such as Mid Argyll.
