Canada has been in existence for a century and a half.
THE NATION of Canada celebrated its 150th birthday last weekend – and one Mid Argyll girl was in Canada to join in the celebrations. Sky MacLachlan, aged 11, flew with her papa to stay for three weeks with family in Uxbridge, Ontario.
Sky’s mum, Debbie, said: ‘They woke up to my great-aunt’s special Canada Day break fast. They then had a swim followed by family lunch then headed into Uxbridge itself for the parade followed by flreworks and live music celebrations.
