A new train service will allow Arran residents to get to Glasgow three hours earlier on a Sunday.
It is being launched on December 11 and the new Sundays-only service will depart Ardrossan Harbour at 9.35am having connected with the 9.15am arrival of the MV Caledonian Isles service from Brodick. It will arrive in Glasgow at 10.17am.
Previously, the first arrival into Glasgow Central on a Sunday wasn’t until 1.18pm. The new service means Arran residents will be able to enjoy a full day shopping or sightseeing in Glasgow on a Sunday for the first time.
