The celebration of cycling that is Grinduro will be taking place this weekend with a cycling race, camping, live music, food, art and equipment displays and a festival atmosphere.
The various events are taking place mainly across the eastern side of the island with the bulk of them taking place on forested tracks and off-road paths. The 145 entrants at this year’s event will be coming from all four corners of the globe, including California where the event also takes place near the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Combining a cycling, music and food festival, Grinduro Scotland promises to be an exciting and funfilled event for serious cyclists and amateurs alike with a selection of the best of all cycling events: endurance and gravel bike racing. Grinduro will take place from today (Friday) until Sunday with four timed racing events and a host other activities all based at Arran High School.
