Promenade plans

There is to be a planning meeting in Brodick Hall on Monday morning to discuss the Brodick shorefront plan. The plan, as conceived by the previous Cunninghame District Council, concerned car parking, a cycle track along the prom and a possible in-fill car park near the pier.

Still on shorefront, ‘No Camping’ signs have been put up along Brodick beach and are ready to go up elsewhere. These have been put up by Arran Estates in response to a request by the community council. The signs mean that police now have the power to move on wild campers.
