AN EXPLOSIVE report that was commissioned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) into the depths of a doping cover-up across Russian sport conducted by the state has identified 139 specific positive samples from track and field athletes which are said to have “disappeared” upon state interference between 2012-2015.

WADA has recommended that the International Olympic Committee bans the Russian Olympic Committee from entering any sport into the Rio Olympics after the report, authored by respected lawyer Richard McLaren, discovered a systematic whitewash of hundreds of positive samples in an operation overseen by the Russian Ministry of Sport.
