R adical reinventions of classic musicals are all the rage these days, sometimes to great effect, other times to the detriment of the original. Thank goodness, then, for Bartlett Sher’s revival of My Fair Lady, which — a couple of clever tweaks aside — is a traditional retelling that serves up good old-fashioned musical theatre splendour on a huge canvas.
