Sportscotland’s latest data shows Active Schools has gone from strength to strength.
In the past year, Argyll and Bute Council ran 138,702 participant sessions and 5,362 individual children and young people took part in a range of sports and physical activities.
There has been a two per cent increase overall in the school roll now participating in Active Schools sessions nationally, and a six per cent increase in the number of activity sessions; 8,096 of those were in Argyll and Bute.
