VOLUNTEERS gave Dalintober’s golden sands a spring clean on Saturday morning.
Fourteen people helped to collect a dozen bags of rubbish and Dalintober Beach Group chairman James McLean, with his tractors, shifted an estimated four tons of rotting seaweed.
Mr McLean said: ‘The clean up will help reduce the amount of rubbish and weed to be collected, hopefully, before our next clean which will be for the regatta.
