Hugh Taylor explains how London Transport removed poles and wires and other paraphernalia after the trolleybuses went, and we have brief reports on London’s Routemaster at 70 celebration and the annual, almost bonkers, but tremendous fun day on Salisbury Plain at Imberbus. Our feature on Teesside kindled some memories, as did the time when Townsend Thoreson ran buses to connect with ferries.
