Originally released in 1997, Open Road was Gary Barlow’s debut solo album. It rocketed to the top of the UK Charts, spawning two No.1 hit singles, his first as a solo artist, Forever Love and Love Won’t Wait.
Now, 21 years on, the album has been remastered and is reissued with previously unreleased demo versions plus live sessions of some of his biggest solo hits.
With an enviable career spanning three decades, Gary is one of Britain’s most successful singer-songwriters, having written 14 No.1 hits as well as being a six-time recipient of an Ivor Novello Award.
Aside from his achievements with Take That, he has also co-written and produced music for other renowned artists including Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John and Robbie Williams.
