Madonna has vowed to stay in control of her back catalogue, taking the opposite stance to many stars who have recently signed big-money deals for their work.
Music legends including Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Paul Simon and Bob Dylan have been snapping up multi-million
dollar sums in exchange for signing over significant parts of the publishing copyright for their back catalogues. It was reported that Dylan’s deal was worth as much as $400 million.
