Install Windows 11 without the junk

In Issue 178’s ‘Windows 10 survival guide’ (buy a back issue from www.snipca. com/56396), we recommended Flyoobe (www.snipca.com/56372) as the best way to upgrade an unsupported Windows 10 PC to Windows 11. This free program also lets you customise Windows 11’s ‘out-of-boxexperience’ – hence the ‘oobe’ in its name. It tweaks Windows 11’s setup process so you can tailor it to your liking from the start. You can uninstall built-in bloatware, disable AI features and configure privacy settings for a more streamlined, less intrusive experience. Flyoobe also removes junk from PCs already running Windows 11. The three hours we’ve allowed for this workshop mostly involves waiting for Windows to install.
