Google advertises its earbuds on its homepage
I’ve come to expect rows of sponsored listings muddying Google’s search results. But it’s now showing me adverts before I’ve even typed anything. This recently appeared on Google’s homepage (www.google.com) just below the search box: ‘New! Pixel Buds 2a deliver rich audio and a great fit at an even better price’ (see screenshot right). Well, that’s good to know – thanks Google!
