Q Why can’t I connect my socket adapter to my router?
I’m confused by the answer you provided to Emm Archer’s question ‘Where do I plug my phone into a new router?’ (Issue 722, page 69). Like Emm I have a BT Smart Hub 2 router into which my BT Digital Voice phone is plugged. I’ve recently purchased your ‘Buy It!’ award-winning router – TP-Link’s Archer BE550 (see page 33) – and would like to connect my phone to it. So, following your advice in Issue 722 I purchased an RJ11-to-BT Socket Adapter to connect the router and the phone line, but nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?
