MOOMIN LOVE
Thank you for writing my favourite magazine! I wanted to give one remark on the article by Christobel Hastings: Tove Jansson, Too-Ticky And A Life Of Pride. Both my wife and I are huge fans of Tove. We grew up with the Moomins, both on telly and in the books, and especially my wife is a proper Moomins geek. The feature is very refreshing, warm and lovely, but there is one sentence in which I think there might be a mistake: “So it doesn’t matter that Moomintroll’s girlfriend, the Snork Maiden, bears no resemblance to the Moomins…” Snork Maiden is a Snork, but she definitely bears a great resemblance to Moomin family. Just so that you know!
