Meeting up with a notorious goblin superstar is enough to make anyone nervous, and I was determined not to let the heeby-jeebies get the better of me when I caught up with Christina Rotondo in early January. However, I almost put my foot in it right from the word go when I couldn’t help but point out that Christina’s style does bear a striking similarity to her on-screen persona of Janis. It takes a special kind of woman not to take offense when being compared to a wild-eyed carnivorous baby-eating goblin. Luckily, Christina also found certain similarities between herself and her goblin counterpart.
“I do admire her style. I’m not gonna lie. There are similarities. We’ve both got quite a few piercings. And I did used to be blonde. I went dark for autumn, but when I had my Christmas nails on and the red lipstick. And that skirt… I love it. It gives off Stevie Nicks vibes. I think it’s a great look.”
