Marshall, Marco Magrini and Andrew Brooks return with their usual clarity and bite, joined this month by powerful one-offs from contributors with something to say. These aren’t long reads; they’re strong opinions. Elsewhere, our Special
Report takes on a new shape (Page 32). Rather than one long-form feature, we’ve broken the story into distinct but connected pieces. The topic – the global fishery crisis – demands it. From trawl nets and turtle bycatch to political inaction and illicit fleets, this approach lets us dive deeper into a complex issue without losing the thread. It’s a structure we’ll return to when the subject calls for it. Both these changes reflect a wider aim: to make Geographical more dynamic without losing our depth. Form follows function.
