Indonesia mourns

The natural disaster that is currently engulfing our beloved country is indeed draining tears. Central Sulawesi, which was hit by the earthquake and tsunami, gave deep sorrow. Previously, the Lombok area was rocked by an earthquake that almost paralyzed the tourist destinations there. Even Bali had time to feel the earthquake that came after.

Several volcanoes in eastern Indonesia also coughed. Although not yet at the highest alert stage. At least the shifting of faults and plates in the region makes conditions inside the Earth create a domino effect. Hopefully nature will stop and return to its original condition.

No less disasters are approaching the western part of Indonesia. Sumatra region gets very high rainfall. This makes several places in Sumatra experience flash floods. The high water discharge and the upstream of the river which is no longer vegetated are the triggers for the flood. It's time for humans to be wiser in managing nature.

In a few months, we will take part in simultaneous elections, both the presidential election and the people's representative election. The democratic party in Indonesia is widely praised by foreign people, this is a matter of pride. It's time to take care of that. The choices may be different but the unity and integrity of Indonesia remains the main one. Hopefully the Democratic Party can run well without the need to break the unity and integrity of the nation and state.
