This month, Gun Mart look at ammunition; after all, there’s no point having any sort of gun, be it an air rifle, firearm, shotgun or airsoft replica, if we have nothing to fire out of it! The subject is vast and obviously covers all disciplines and we also have a look at making your own ammunition at home, which is a very satisfying past-time and can really reap rewards as far as accuracy is concerned and it can also save a considerable amount of money- once the initial cost of the reloading gear has been factored in of course.

We also have the usual gun and accessory reviews. In ‘Airguns’, Bruce Potts, who’s a fan of the German K98 military rifle as a powder burner, gets to grips with an air rifle replica from Diana and Pete Wadeson casts his eye over Brocock’s Compatto. In the Firearms section, Pete Moore tests a .22WMR firing AR15 semi auto and finds a potent pest control rifle that’s great fun to shoot; he also looks through an impressive Midas 2.5-15 X 50 scope from Athlon. In ‘Shotguns’, Mark Stone trials a Revo Premier and is very impressed!
